Schools in Action

Children of all ages have a gift for coming up with original, educational and interesting ideas of their own to benefit the stray cats and dogs. Whether sponsored dog walks, spellathons or cake bakes to raise funds for animal welfare projects; weekly visits to groom and walk the dogs in SCAD's adoption programme; or even neuter and treatment clinics for community strays, all contribute to animal welfare and provide evidence that children are learning compassionate values through SCAD's education programmes. What's more, they learn to recognise that their own actions do impact on the community and environment around them -- a valuable life lesson!
